I know a lot of bathroom codes/include them in my phone if I forget.
Other places like U district starbucks and lower Queen Anne starbucks use a key though.

I rarely write about politics on this blog (or ever), but every once in a while something comes up that I feel merits an exception.

While Obama is likely to veto this iteration of CISPA if it makes it past the Senate, your representatives need to know you don’t approve of them trying to find ways to bypass privacy policies and compromise your personal information on the internet. We don’t have the support of many major technology companies this time, because the bill is written to absolve them of legal responsibility. Real big of you, guys.

If you’re a US citizen, e-mail your Senators. Tell them why they shouldn’t vote in favor of it, or simply inform them of your opposition as a citizen whose concerns they are supposed to be representing. If you have time, look into how your House of Representatives voted and drop them a line as well. I’m sure those who opposed the bill would appreciate your support, and those who voted to pass it deserve an earful.

You might also remind your representatives they have other, more important things to worry about than supposed Chinese cyber threats, like oh, I don’t know… the economy? The shabby state of this country’s healthcare? Civil rights? Female reproductive freedom? Gun control? Take your pick, the list goes on.

There’s also a Change.org petition you can sign, and spreading the word is never a bad idea, but the most reliable way to make your voice heard is to contact members of congress directly.

Just sent off a little letter to my senator. How about you?

So I wake up this morning and literally all the candy in the mug I’ve been saving from various restaurants that give you sweets after the check comes has been DUMPED into the garbage that all my snot rags from my cold this week have also been tossed in. So now they are pretty much unsavable and I must start over. I mean, you can buy candy but it’s not as cool and random and I am cheap.

Didn’t go to Sakura Con as King candy since I decided to go as Jack Frost instead, lol yeah got frosted…. Also it was because Sakura Con’s closer to winter and there were a LOT of fellow frosts :). There were some Wreck-it-Ralph people there (I spotted one Turbo man, two or three ralphs about three fix-it-felixes, and a few vanellopes,) but I wasn’t close to done with King Candy at all, and figured since PAX is a gaming convention and Wreck-it-Ralph’s a video game movie it’d be more on occasion, like the Tron cosplayers a few years ago.

Just…
Don’t waste candy.
Or at least if you’re trying to declutter the house, ask before you toss it people.
